Our Pastry Chef
Born in Colombia, trained in Spain, now in Miami, our chef Deicy Villaveces started her culinary journey in San Sebastian, Spain at the esteemed culinary school “Escuela de Cocina- Luis Irizar.” Her experience includes working for Michelin-star restaurants, famous hotels, traditional Basque restaurants, and most recently, the owner and pastry chef at Ondo’s Spanish Tapas Bar in Denver, CO. She often says, “desserts should be just as good as the main course.”
The idea behind deliss. came out of our chef’s personal decision to lead a healthier lifestyle, without giving up the enjoyment that comes from sweets. So, the experimenting began… how to make sweets that aren’t loaded with white sugar and that utilize alternative flours, without sacrificing pleasure or flavor. The results are WOW, nothing short of spectacular. You will experience better flavors, moister crumb, more happiness and zero guilt.
